PU Announced B.A/BSc Part 2 Online Exam | Step by Step guide to attempt Online Examination

As we all know due to COVID 19 spread in the country all institutes cancelled their exam and rescheduled them Punjab university is one of those institutes now, after 4 months

 

of lockdown university decided to take the exam online from the student sitting in their home. 

Below are things you must know before the exam attempt.

Data Collection:

First of all, you have updated your data on giving address add your personal information in order to be in contact with the university during the exam also receive various exam instructions.

Date Sheet :

As of yesterday university have also uploaded date sheet on the website and make sure all paper should be equally

 

accommodated in the schedule you can download yours from the university site.

Roll No Slips:

To take part in the exam you must have roll no slip issued by university controller examination with a full set of instructions you can it by visiting the following link. Download Your Roll No Slips by clicking here. 

To download Roll no Slip you must know your full name on admission form .date of birth or only registration No.

How To Attempt Online Exam

Following Instruction You Must Follow :

.1. Download Safe Exam Browser from the given address: 

 Make sure you are downloading version 3.0.1 of Safe Exam Browser (SEB)

2. Download and Install "Google Meet" on your system to communicate with your proctor (Exam supervisor). You must have Windows 8.1 or above (preferably Windows 10) with updated service packs.

3. A Username and Password are sent via Email to start the examination. Make sure to change your password as soon as possible. This will remain the same for every paper.

4. You will receive a Meeting Code 45 mins prior to the start of each paper from your proctor to share your camera and MIC.

5. Once connected with your proctor, show your environment to him/her to ensure no unfair means is used.

6. You will be receiving a file before the start of every exam from proctor.exams@pu.edu.pk. Download and double click this file to start your every paper.

7. Your system will be in control of proctor during course of the exam. All irrelevant applications will be shut down automatically. 

8. Use of mobiles, communication means, and other unfair means will cause termination of paper as you are continuously in surveillance and visible to your proctor. Switching off-camera during the exam will be considered as malpractice. 

9. Do not quit the Safe Exam Browser during the paper as it will end your paper attempt.
